  • Session 1: Carbon Free Fuels Combustion including topics related to hydrogen and ammonia production and combustion. It may also include combustion of alternative fuels.
  • Session 2: Fundamentals of Combustion Research including device-specific aspects of fuels, emissions, injection, stability, and combustion dynamics (e.g. ignition, quenching, thermoacoustics) in reciprocating internal combustion engines, gas turbines (for propulsion and power generation), and rocket engines.
  • Session 3: Waste to Value including topics related to converting waste, e.g., Biomass natural resource, Municipal solid waste (MSW), Industry and petrochemical waste, as well as wastes from food processing and animals to any form of energy, e.g., biofuels, hydrogen, electricity, etc., by means of Combustion, Gasification, Pyrolysis.
  • ​Session 4: Combustion Diagnostics and Reaction Kinetics including the development and application of diagnostic techniques and sensors for the understanding and control of combustion and reacting flow phenomena. It also includes the kinetics of hydrocarbons, oxygenated fuels, and alternative fuels. It may also include numerical combustion.
